GOD HAS A SOLUTION

   ◊ WHAT KEEPS US FROM ETERNAL LIFE?

We keep ourselves from Eternal Life by our sinful acts and thoughts. Since God's standard is perfection, just one sin can keep us from enjoying an Eternity of peace in the presence of God. Man's nature causes all of us to fall short of God's standards. (Romans 3:23) God is just - and even though He loves us, He must punish us for our sinful acts. (Exodus 34:7) The sentence He decrees upon us is death - eternal separation from Him and permanent suffering in the fiery place. (Romans 6:23 & Ezekiel 18:4)

   ◊ THERE IS GOOD NEWS, GOD HAS A SOLUTION!

God's solution is not by doing good since God says all of our righteous acts are like filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) The solution is provided by God who loves us so much that He left His place in Heaven (John 1:1&14) and became the perfect man. He was sinless! (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Jesus came to die in our place so the debt we owe God has been paid once and for all, satisfying all of God's requirements. (Romans 5:8-10) He rose from the grave and is alive today in Heaven. He now offers all men & women a pardon for their sins as a free gift. (Ephesians 2:8,9 & Romans 6:23)

The way we receive His gift of Eternal Life is by Faith. (John 3:16, Romans 5:11 & Hebrews 11:6) Eternal Life comes only by Knowing, Accepting and Trusting Jesus Alone for Salvation. (John 3:36, John 1: 12-13, John 14:6)

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, So that you may know that you have eternal life. (I John 5:13)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)
